| Incident Private Brian Tunnicliffe, 33, from Ilkeston, Derbyshire, was weeks away from going home when he was killed in a road crash near a patrol base in Gereshk in the south of Afghanistan on 20 September, 2007. A colleague from the Mercian Regiment was also killed in the incident. They were part of a convoy on essential re-supply duty when their vehicle overturned. | |
