| Incident Sergeant Lee Johnson, 33, from Stockton-on-Tees, was a member of the 2nd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment, who died in an explosion during operations in Afghanistan on the morning of 8 December, 2007. The explosive device, believed to be a mine, detonated killing Sgt Johnson and injuring another soldier in the same vehicle during the operation to recapture Musa Qaleh. | |
